![]() Even the bread that is already sitting at the table before you enter the restaurant will be charged to you. And even though the portions are single-sized tapa portions of no doubt high-quality food, the price is multiplied by the amount of people sitting at the table. However, every single dish (tapa-style) is charged individually. Unfortunately, the concept has now become deceiving: Not at any stage during the experience are you asked whether you would like a certain dish or are you showed a menu with prices. Since 2012, this restaurant and the experience has been on our bucket list to try as a couple. I tried the concept with colleagues in 2012 and we ended up paying a reasonable (taking into account the quality of the food and the overall experience) 60 euros a person. The concept of this restaurant is: You sit down, a (small) bottle of cava is popped, plates of tasty, quality local food start appearing and before you know the night is over and you had a splendid and unforgettable experience. Call it about 100 euros per person after all is done. Ham, sea snails, small clams, fish, it was all amazing. What could be so special? Well these were by far the best fried calamari I have ever had. Just as an example, the most 'pedestrian' dish we were served was a platter of deep fried calamari. It is all served 'family style', with large platters of incredibly delicious dish after dish. You are expected to sit and eat whatever they put in front of you. Though two of our party did get some veggie options, it seemed fairly forced. ![]() If you have dietary restrictions, this is not the place for you. A bottle of bubbly is opened and let the feast begin! There is no menu and they really do not ask you anything. You sit down and immediately feel at home. Finding it is part of the fun, since it has no sign outside, just a small non-descript door leading down a short alley (hence the name. We have traveled a lot and are fairly intense foodies, so I do not say this lightly.
